Oakbrook Professional Centre, located in DeLand, Florida, was purchased by Ted Glasrud Associates FL, LLC in July 1997. This complex, originally constructed in 1988 and formally known as Millers Market Square, consisted of 50,000 square feet of retail space including a major grocery store. This project was primarily vacant for nine yaers prior to our purchase and a considerable eyesore in the local community. The building was converted from a retail center to professional offices and has the image of being a much larger facility in a large market community. Our leasing efforts were very successful and the project had almost 100% occupancy before the end of 1998. Oakbrook Professional Centre is located only a few blocks from the Florida Hospital facility and has the largest concentration of medical office space in the City of DeLand. It is located on nine acres of land and has room for future expansion. This project is owned, leased and managed by Ted Glasrud Associates FL, LLC.
